Ms. Calvie Nell Bradley

Calvie Bradley,67 returned to her heavenly home, Saturday, March 23, 2019. Calvie was born December 4, 1951, in Henderson, Texas, to Olin and Mary Johnson. Calvie was blessed with a large and loving family. She was one of thirteen children. Calvie was preceded in death by her father, Olin Johnson and two brothers Robert Johnson and Raymond Bradley.


Calvie loved to clean, cook, collect antiques and spend time with her family. She was an educator at heart. She was kind, but not soft spoken. However, she always had time to answer a question or solve a problem, no matter how small. She was a caring person, loving mother, grandmother, Mimi and devoted friend. Calvie always thought of others first. "To know her was to love her." She will be dearly missed by her loved ones who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Michael Bradley (Rhonda), Shenita Sparks (Ricky), Tarcha Norris (John), and Kelvin Bradley.
Grand-children: Brandon Brown, Breanna Bradley, Amber Bradley Davis (Domanic), Michael Bradley Jr. (Antionette), Jatavian Norris, Erin Sparks, Keltric Bradley, Jeremiah Norris and Kendall Sparks.Great-grandchildren: Ariyann Brown, Aiyana Brown, Demone Timmons Jr. and Skylar Norris. Mother: Mary Johnson; Siblings: Bennie Johnson, Wanda Johnson, Louis Johnson, Clara Turner, Danny Johnson (Lizzie), Donny Johnson, Homer Jackson, Johnny Jackson, Anna Hutchings (Carlton), Susie Simonette (Randy) and Patricia Jackson. Special friends, Yvonne Reese and Lizzie Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
