Mr. Celester "Lester" Polk was born September 18, 1964 to Willie Ed Polk and Geneva Taylor Polk in Longview, Texas. He departed this life July 10, 2015.
He united with the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He also attended school in the Pine Tree Independent School District, Longview.
He is preceded in death by his father Willie Ed Polk, sister Patrice Ann Polk, grandparents Rev. Emmitt & Janice V. Taylor and Mr. George and Edna Polk.
Loving memories will be cherished by his mother, Geneva Taylor Polk: daughters, Kimberly M. Edwards and JeanKena L. Pitts; special friend, Jennifer Pitts; brother Grant Polk ( Adrienne); special aunts, Alberta Anderson (Bobby), Sylvia Polk Wells, Johnnie Pearl Wright (Nathaniel), Frankie Polk Chilsom (James); uncles, Lesley Taylor (Othalia), Carter Polk, Troy Polk (Debbie), Wayne Polk (Ruth) and cousin Pamela Brown along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
