Geneva Collins McKinley -Taylor

Geneva Collins McKinley-Taylor was born on November 19, 1924, to Ellis and Carrie Collins in Hallsville, Texas. She accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Hallsville, Texas in which her grandfather was one of the founders.

Geneva Collins McKinley-Taylor was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Taylor, daughter Charlitha McKinley Green, grandson Dennis Green, sisters Bernice Collins-Spencer, Lurline Collins Spencer-Powell and Mary Opal Collins-Howard, brothers Ellis Collins Jr. and Roger Collins

Left to cherish her memories are her grandson, Dale Green; step-daughter Dorothy Taylor; one great-grand-daughter Denesha Green Buchanan; four great-great-grandchildren Trynisha Shaw, Shakira Shaw, Ty'Nassjia and Azia Shaw; one sister-in-law Maxine Bowens and a host of nieces and nephews. A special thank you to all the people that helped Geneva especially her dear friends Mrs. Bobbie McElroy-Masters, Carolyn Coby, and Linda Foster.
