Joe Malcolm Miles was born May 20, 1965 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Johnnie and Joe Lee Miles.
He attended Corpus Christi public Schools. In 1979, his family relocated to Longview, Texas where he graduated from Longview High School, Class of 1983.
He married Rose Miles in 1988 and had 7 beautiful children.
He worked at a variety of local grocery stores before opening his own appliance shop. He closed up shop in the late 90's and finished his working career at Wal-Mart in 2013.
He enjoyed being a father, cooking fishing, and entertaining friends and family. He had a chivalrous smile and warming voice that greeted every one. Unforgettable and buoyant to those who walked beside him on his path. From co-workers at Wal-Mart to the very barriers of his home. He always voiced his thoughts and shared his search for the truth. He was a man that was always looking for the truth. His church was wherever the truth was. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Miles, a son Jordan Miles and mother.
He leaves to cherish his memories 6 children: Brittany (Brandon) Davis, Jonathan (LaVincia) Miles, Ayana Miles, Makili Miles, Mariama Miles, and Mustafa all of Grand Prairie, TX; his father, Joe Lee Miles and 4 siblings.
