Laurie A. Miles

Laurie Ann Miles of Longview, TX, was peacefully
called home to be with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, on
December 12th, 2020. She was born on September 19, 1960
in Corpus Christi, TX to Johnnie and the late Maggie Miles.
Laurie graduated from Longview High School in 1980.
Laurie accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an
early age. She was baptized and a member of Galilee Baptist
Church of Longview, TX.

Laurie was better known for her loving and caring spirit.
Everyone called her Laura Ann. She was a fun person to be
around and you would never forget her laugh. She was a
smooth dancer on the dance floor and a competitive card
player. She loved to cook for her family. She was also the
family daycare until everyone became of school-age.
Laurie is preceded in death by her mother Maggie Miles and
brother Adrian Miles.

Laurie leaves to cherish her loving memory: father, Johnnie
Miles of Longview, TX; two sons, Anthony Miles (Elizabeth)
of Portland, TX and Steven Miles of Longview, TX; one
daughter, Alisha Miles of Shreveport LA; two sisters, Sharon
Miles of Longview, TX and Amanda Miles of Fort Worth,
TX; six grandchildren, Shambriana, Trevion, Isaiah, Bethany,
Qycee and Arianna; three nieces, Whitney (Randy), Sharell
and Bria and one nephew, Jason. She also leaves to cherish
her best friend, Howard McEntire, and a host of relatives and
friends who will all miss her dearly.
