Services for Mr. Leroy Stoxstell will be Saturday , 11am February 21, 2015 at T.L & Jewel Knighton Chapel located at Citizens Funeral Home. Public viewing will be Friday February 20, 2015 from 2pm-7pm.
Mr. Leroy Stoxstell, the son of the late Mr. Matthew Stoxstell & Annie Mae Ellis Watkins, was born on June 8, 1943 in Sledge, Mississippi. He moved to Longview with his family at an early age.
He was called home by the Father, to suffer no more, on Wednesday morning, February 11, 2015.
Mr. Stoxstell leaves to mourn two sisters : Mrs. Eva Mathis (Elvis Mathis Jr.) and Mrs. Sheren Fluellen (Carlton Fluellen); two brothers: Mr. MC Stoxstell (Clara Stoxstell) and Mr. Alex Watkins Jr. ;a son , LaMarcus Stoxstell ; a daughter, Larkesia Stoxstell; two grandchildren: Shomanique Traylor & Chelcee Redden; a special friend, Merlene McMillian; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Matthew Stoxstell & Mrs. Annie Mae Ellis Watkins; step-father: Mr. Alex Watkins Sr. ; one sister: Mrs. Christine Cooper and two brothers: Mr. Leon Stoxstell & Mr. John Stoxstell.
