Yolanda Sims was born July 23, 1973 to the parentage of Virginia Sims.
She was the eldest of four children and always kept a special place in her heart for loved ones.
Yolanda graduated from Longview High School in 1992. Yolanda found her faith at The Lighthouse Church in Longview, Texas.
Yolanda spent her adult years being a wonderful mother to her sons. She was a caregiver of many at local nursing homes as well as her mother.
She departed this life April 5, 2016 at Good Shepherd Medical Center.
She leaves to cherish her memory mother,three siblings ; Persuada Rodgers, Toby Rodgers and Kizzy Rodgers, two sons;Quincy Carter and Coby Sims and four nieces.
Graveside services for Yolanda Denise Alex will be 10am Monday , April 11, 2016 at Gracehill Cemetery.
